Thanks so much. So sick of hearing how to cure a very dog aggressive boston terrier with shock collar! So humbling to see where I have made basic mistakes, and how to correct them in the future. Thank you.

Question: I have two lab mixes, about 45lb each. When I’m walking them, they walk next to me no problem. tails level. However,w hen they hear another dog bark, we pass a dog barking at a fence or, encounter an off lead dog that barks at them, my male’s tail goes straight up and starts to tug roughly, the female follows his lead in pulling but tail is low. This also happens with cats. He has whippet, so I know he has instinct to chase. She has border collie. What do I do to stop this behavior?

Hi I have 3 dogs. 2 chows and a baby boxer. I am working with them on walking on a leash outside. so far the 2 chows go nuts out side by themselves and with each other.pull running on grass they don’t listen at all even with dog treats. they don’t have the same reaction when trained in the house. What should I do?

I really enjoy watching all of these videos! I find them comprehensive, enlightening and easy to apply to my relationship with my own GSD. I like the approach, seems to be based on us as humans using our greater level of intelligence to understand the dog (behaviors/drives/instincts) and be responsible for communicating the right messages (by using that knowledge), and practicing until the dog understands too. Easy in theory. Practice makes perfect, for man and dog.

yes, that is the first thing I did but they still come around sometimes. I guess I’ll have to keep calling them. It makes things hard to be neighborly with them. They get tired of having them in their house so they just let them roam.
